UIC center gets award for mentoring young women

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (www.ucr.edu) — Marigold Linton of the Morongo Band of Mission Indians — who In 1958 graduated from UC Riverside — will receive an award from President Barack Obama for her lifelong work in mentoring American Indian and other minority students.
